MANAA General Meeting
Please join MANAA at our monthly meeting next week Thursday, February 16th, at 7:30 pm at the Chinatown Public Safety Association (details below). We welcome your input and thoughts on pressing issues regarding the portrayal of Asian Americans in print, radio, television and movies. Among the issues we will be discussing are:
– Possibility of reviving the MANAA Media Achievement Awards
– Cancellation of two shows featuring Asian Americans/AAs on TV
– Targeting Adam Carolla’s advertisers for his latest offensive remarks
– Follow up with Spencer Gifts t-shirts
Please come and discuss these and many other media issues related to Asian Americans. New attendees are always welcome.
